  • Long lead times due to limited building land and strict approval procedures
  • Energy efficiency requirements (GEG) lead to higher construction standards and partly higher prices
  • Sales often occur before construction begins (developer business)
  • Special requests and equipment options can influence prices
  • Security through MaBV (Broker and Developer Ordinance) with installment payment plans

New build properties are considered stable in value but are usually in the higher price segment.
