Value Preservation & Transfer Initiative
The non-profit association “Initiative Werterhalt & Weitergabe e. V.” (Value Preservation & Transfer Initiative) was founded in 2010 out of the conviction that every generation will eventually encounter disagreements with the coming generation. While this is completely normal and important for the development of a society, we are speaking here of intergenerational conflict.
Our goal is to accompany this conflict and resolve it wherever possible – in short, our goal is intergenerational justice.
It should not lead to a battle of “old against young,” but rather to mutual understanding. This can only be achieved if the upcoming discussions are conducted openly and honestly.
Especially the topics of inheriting and bequeathing, asset and business succession, and the transition into a technical and digital world must not lead to parts of society being left behind. Therefore, the association’s special focus is on our youth and those who will one day take over this world.
